Like Spherechecks, Cylindchecks adds a checkerboard pattern to a certain shaped object, in this case a cylinder. It will alternate the checks based on the angle around the cylinder, the Z height, and the radius. You might use this for something like a grain silo, or maybe a slot machine’s spinning wheels.

The texture’s Z axis should be aligned with the central axle of the cylinder.

REQUESTER TABS

  • # of Wedges:
    The number of checks around the circumference of the cylinder. This will be rounded to an even number.
  • Radius Width:
    How deep each check is radially.
  • Z Check Width:
    How tall each check is.
  • Color RGB:
    The colour applied to the added checks.
  • Reflect RGB:
    The reflect value applied to the added checks.
  • Filter RGB:
    The filter value applied to the added checks.
  • Fade Value:
    This parameter allows you to control the strength at which the texture is applied to the object's surface; a value of 0.0 applies the texture at maximum strength, whereas a value of 1.0 makes the effects of texture invisible.
